RICH SCIUTTO, ’95 -’10 Coach, Baseball

Rich Sciutto coached at BHS from 1995 -2010. He is the most successful baseball coach at BHS having won (7) PAL Championships as the Varsity Baseball coach.  Rich took his Panther teams to (4) CCS tournaments and is the only coach to have won. He and his teams, ’04 -’10, have the only (2) CCS baseball Championships in BHS history.  Along the way bringing BHS Baseball program to a #3 ranking in ‘10 and #1 ranking in ‘04 for entire state of California for DIII. Rich was recognized as the PAL Coach of the Year (4) times, ’98, ‘04, ’05 & ‘10.  And in his last year with BHS 2010, Rich was recognized as California State Coach of the Year. Rich is proud of the players he’s had come through his program and had (6) go on to play professionally, most notably, Pitcher Scott Feldman who played with the Toronto Blue Jays this year and was in the World Series with Texas against the Giants. Rich also started the traditional Night game vs Serra. Rich started the BHS Baseball Alumni game in ‘08, which is now going into its 9th year.
